CEDES-CD implements programs that have a social impact, on mid and long term. The company contributes to reintegrating persons in risk situations on the labour market, developing active measures for employment encouragement, promoting lifelong learning and stimulating economic competitiveness.

The company contributes to economic and social development of all sectors through qualification, specialization, staff development, writing and implementing projects and by providing advice and consultancy, offering permanent attention to the provided service quality by enforcing standards according to local market demands and international trends.

CEDES-CD is member of the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism’s Advisory Board and an active member of important tourism associations and trade unions.

CEDES-CD team members have an extensive experience in training, both theoretical and practical. Practitioners in their fields, they are up to date with the latest changes and trends in local and international markets.

CEDES-CD has developed a 3 years experience in the social responsibility (CSR) and cleaner production (CP) areas, having five consultants of the UNIDO project for sustainable development in tourism consultants. During the program, these consultants have implemented CSR / CP methodologies in 8 hotels from Bucharest and Prahova Valley.

Graduates of CEDES-CD programs receive qualification or graduation diplomas (depending on the attended program) certified by the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation and Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Protection, with EU recognition.

• WHAT DO WE PERFORM?

1. TRAINING PROGRAMS 

CEDES-CD has in present a good notoriety on authorized training providers’ market. The Company is authorised by of National Council for Adult Training (CNFPA), according to the stipulations of republished Government Ordinance no.129/2000, the programs being certified by the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Protection.

Training programs in tourism industry have the expert opinion notice from the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism.

Currently, the company has 20 authorized training programs, grouped by qualifications, improvement and specializations. Out of the total number, 13 are in tourism field and the others in different socio-economic areas. CEDES-CD offer includes, for example, the training program "Fundamentals (concepts) of hygiene", approved and certified by the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports and Ministry of Health.

An alternative to formal educational system for people who work or have worked in tourism industry is the evaluation and certification of professional skills, obtained in other ways than the formal ones that can be achieved by attending CEDES-CD evaluation centre, which is authorized CNFPA for jobs like: Travel Agent – Tour Guide, Receptionist, Waiter and Maid.

Based on the legislative changes and in accordance with the occupational standards in force, the company carries out a continuous process of accreditation for professional development programs. Thus, CEDES-CD offers participants training at European standards, adapted to the existing requirements of local and international labour market.

2. CONSULTANCY

Over time, our business has diversified into related areas, aiming to provide integrated services to those interested. We started from professional training, reaching as far to offer consultancy in start-up and developing organizations.
